Job description
About the Role
BCG Expand is a specialist data intelligence business supported by BCG, operating where strategy, research, and global finance meet. The team helps senior leaders at major financial institutions make better decisions, especially around technology risk. This Singapore-based position is open at two levels — Analyst or Lead Analyst — depending on experience.
This is a distinctly client-facing and qualitative role rather than a classic analytical position built around spreadsheets, SQL, or quantitative benchmarking. It suits someone who enjoys speaking with senior stakeholders, leading discussions, and turning complex conversations into sharp, practical insights. You will help drive the Technology Risk Working Group, an APAC forum that gathers senior technology and risk leaders from leading banks every two months for peer exchange and roundtables.
What You Will Do
You will lead the delivery of the working group, from identifying and reaching out to senior stakeholders across roughly ten financial institutions every other month, to conducting structured interviews about technology risk challenges and market trends. You will then distil those conversations into clear industry perspectives and thought-leadership content.
Part of the role involves chairing and facilitating bi-monthly roundtables and peer forums, including presenting findings and guiding discussion among senior participants. You will also research regulatory updates and emerging developments in technology risk and compliance, and prepare agendas, briefing packs, and client-ready discussion materials.
As the role develops, you may also contribute to wider benchmarking initiatives across APAC clients and support regional commercial programmes alongside the Singapore commercial team.
Benefits
You can expect a competitive salary designed to attract strong talent, along with 25 days of holiday plus public holidays. The package also includes private healthcare, life insurance, a pension, and a monthly wellbeing allowance. The company promotes from within and offers strong progression opportunities, with additional benefits also available.
Requirements
For the Analyst level, you should have at least 2 years of experience in financial services, consulting, or a similar field, together with a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, law, or another relevant subject, ideally at Second Upper Honours level or equivalent.
For the Lead Analyst level, the same academic background is expected, along with at least 4 years of relevant experience and greater capability to own client relationships and workstreams from the start.
For both levels, experience or familiarity with technology risk management, regulatory frameworks, or compliance in financial services is a strong plus. You should be confident speaking with senior executives, able to interview, moderate, and hold the attention of a room, and capable of turning qualitative discussions into structured, well-written insights. Prior exposure to running working groups, roundtables, or panel sessions is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organised, meticulous, and comfortable taking initiative without needing close direction.
Location and Visa
This position is based in the Singapore CBD office. Candidates must already be living in Singapore or be prepared to relocate at their own expense. Visa and work sponsorship will be provided if needed.
Additional Information
This is an immediate opening, and early applicants will have an advantage.
