Job Overview
We are seeking an Analyst to join our Equity Capital Markets (ECM) team focused on convertibles. In this role, you will be integral to expanding our platform and facilitating transaction execution from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include crafting marketing documents, analyzing financial data, engaging with clients through presentations, and managing day-to-day transaction activities. Comprehensive training, mentoring, and development opportunities are provided as you contribute to enhancing the firm's capital raising operations and strengthening its market reputation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead execution of public capital raising transactions like IPOs and follow-on offerings for issuer clients.
- Support senior bankers by preparing materials for client pitches and requests for proposals.
- Coordinate with internal teams such as industry coverage, sales and trading, syndicate, equity research, and legal departments.
- Create insightful publications related to equity capital markets and the technology sector.
- Conduct detailed analysis for clients, including evaluating precedent transactions and identifying shareholder targets.
- Prepare presentations and draft internal committee memoranda before transaction launches.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline.
- At least one year of front office experience in investment banking or a similar environment.
- Strong capabilities in accounting, finance, quantitative analysis, and professional business writing.
- Proficient understanding of capital markets, especially ECM transaction execution processes.
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively engage with senior professionals, clients, and other business stakeholders.
- Adept at thriving in high-paced team settings.
- Self-motivated, able to independently manage multiple transactions and projects with precision.
