Analyst

Role overview

This opportunity is for an Analyst position in Pune, focused on supporting finance and banking operations. The role involves accurate transaction handling, service-level adherence, issue resolution, and day-to-day operational support. It is centered on maintaining control, compliance, and smooth processing across business activities.

Core transaction processing

• Handle inward and outward transactions, including cross-border activity managed by corporate operations.
• Process payment instructions through schemes such as IMPS, NEFT, RTGS, and NACH.
• Ensure each transaction is completed accurately, without errors, and within the required timeline.
• Carry out payment processing in line with defined service level agreements and internal as well as regulatory standards.

Operational duties

• Perform assigned banking operations within the turnaround time set by the organization.
• Support daily processing, review, reporting, trading-related work, and issue handling for business teams.
• Work with other teams across the bank to coordinate and align operational workflows.
• Contribute to process improvement by identifying gaps and recommending better ways of working.
• Help develop and implement operating procedures and controls that reduce risk and improve efficiency.
• Prepare reports and presentations on operational performance for internal senior stakeholders.
• Stay aware of industry practices and trends to support adoption of effective banking operations methods.
• Take part in projects and improvement initiatives that strengthen process efficiency and effectiveness.

Tools and working style

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word is desirable.
• Be detail-oriented, quick to learn, and able to perform with minimal supervision.
• Work independently in a fast-moving environment.
