The Global Technology & Operations (GTO) division fosters innovation through teams of engineers, analysts, and project managers working together to solve business challenges. As an AMS Claims Specialist, you will be responsible for managing total absence claims with precision and timeliness, playing a key role in customer service excellence.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage and review claims pertaining to the Family & Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and/or Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), ensuring compliance with federal, state regulations, and company policies.
- Develop and maintain workflow procedures related to FMLA/ADA claims and evaluate eligibility according to appropriate leave plans.
- Conduct eligibility assessments during intake calls and collect relevant information from employees or related systems as necessary.
- Perform follow-ups such as health condition recertification, intermittent claim monitoring, and return-to-work confirmation to maintain claim accuracy.
- Maintain up-to-date records in systems reflecting the current leave status and ensure all documentation is properly logged.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school diploma required.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and attention to detail.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree.
- Preferred knowledge of FMLA/ADA claims processes and procedures.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary for this position ranges from $41,600 to $80,169 annually. In addition to the base pay, the role may be eligible for short-term incentive compensation and stock-based long-term incentives subject to plan terms.
