AMC Service Engineer - Sustainability IBMS - North India

About the Role

Join Siemens as a Senior Service Engineer based in Gurugram, India, focused on managing Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) for Integrated Building Management Systems (IBMS) within the sustainability segment. You will engage deeply in maintaining and improving IBMS, handling associated systems like Building Management System (BMS), Fire Alarm System (FAS), CCTV, and Public Address (PA) systems, applying your extensive experience to ensure seamless operations and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Regularly follow up on AMC contracts corresponding to completed projects to ensure service continuity.
• Leverage your strong expertise in IBMS, ideally with 5 to 7 years of direct experience in this field.
• Prepare spare parts lists and plan for upcoming AMC activities, maintaining steady weekly communication with clients.
• Create Order Confirmations (OC) for received AMC orders and coordinate with Procurement, Accounts, and Operations teams for smooth processing.
• Ensure proper invoice generation, submission, and approval with accounting departments for both company and client sides.
• Implement necessary modifications to completed systems such as BMS, FAS, CCTV, and PA according to client requests.
• Conduct AMC visits on schedules agreed upon with clients to maintain optimal system performance.
• Manage spare material orders by tracking the entire process—from purchase order receipt to procurement to final payment collection.
• Handle independent small-scale projects with budgets below 10 lakh INR.
• Maintain detailed reports to monitor project status, including material supply updates in coordination with Procurement.
• Regularly update AMC visit plans and completions, invoice tracking, and review procurement activities alongside the Purchase department.
• Participate actively in on-site coordination meetings.
• Supervise site supervisors and assigned commissioning engineers, providing support as required.
• Prepare comprehensive handover documentation (DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ, Handover sheets) collaborating with site supervisors and commissioning engineers.
• Obtain client approvals on final handover documents and ensure receipt of final payment release certificates along with collection of remaining materials from sites.
• Monitor project costs and certify contractor invoices together with site supervisors.
• Track manpower and material deployment on site to optimize resource utilization.
• Submit monthly collection and billing plans for AMC and spare orders by the first week of every month to the Manager.

Candidate Profile and Eligibility

• Possess a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree (B.Tech/B.E.) in any specialization.
• Demonstrate between 7 to 15 years of relevant working experience, especially in IBMS maintenance and AMC management.
