Role Summary
This role is centered on representing Nintendo in a professional way while delivering excellent guest service and educating customers about Nintendo products. The position supports a lively, fast-moving retail setting designed to give customers a memorable Nintendo experience.
Key Duties
- Welcome and support customers by sharing product information, giving demonstrations, and helping resolve issues.
- Recommend products and additional merchandise based on customer needs.
- Handle point-of-sale transactions accurately and without delay.
- Serve as a greeter by receiving guests as they enter or leave and responding to customer needs.
- Replenish the sales floor and, when needed, complete back-of-house tasks such as tagging, restocking, and organizing merchandise.
- Help maintain a neat, attractive store by completing daily cleaning tasks and keeping displays in good condition.
- Support accurate daily recordkeeping through cycle counts and product counts.
- Work closely with teammates, communicate consistently, and contribute ideas and feedback while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Assist with product events, including queue management, demonstrations, and processing sales.
- Represent Nintendo at external consumer events when required.
- Help manage inventory by performing cycle counts and ordering products and supplies.
- Coordinate with colleagues and shipping/receiving teams to keep the stock room organized and effective.
- Maintain departmental lists, databases, customer records, and reference materials.
- Create, revise, and maintain process and training documents.
- Prepare files for output tasks such as mail merges, print requests, and batch shipments.
- Compile daily and month-end reports.
Requirements
- At least one year of relevant retail experience.
- Prior experience in retail, ideally in a high-traffic or flagship store.
- Willingness and ability to build knowledge of games and Nintendo products.
- Capability to handle routine display repairs and maintenance.
- Experience with accurate cash handling and inventory control.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and insurance.
Compensation and Benefits
The role offers an hourly base pay range of USD 23.66 to 31.84. It also includes eligibility for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus and a benefits package with medical, dental, vision, a 401(k), and paid time off.
