Job description

About the role

You will be responsible for how the brand appears and performs on Amazon Seller Central. This includes listing content, image direction, search discoverability, advertising efficiency, and rank improvement. The role works closely with the founders, with real decision-making authority inside agreed boundaries. It is a specialized Amazon operations and growth role rather than a broad marketing position.

Key ownership areas

  • Manage listing content for more than 30 SKUs, including copy, A+ content, backend keywords, and bullet points as the catalog expands.
  • Coordinate with photographers, create shot directions, and approve creative assets such as lifestyle visuals and infographic overlays.
  • Handle Amazon Ads across SP, SB, and SD, including campaign setup, bid optimization, search-term extraction, negative keyword management, and ACOS control by SKU tier.
  • Track organic rankings for priority keywords and prepare weekly visibility updates.
  • Oversee Brand Store, Amazon Posts, and A/B testing through Manage Your Experiments.
  • Take care of Brand Registry actions and manage IP complaint responses, including counter-notices and manufacturer declarations.
  • Build a launch process for new SKUs so listings can go live within 48 hours of product approval.

Requirements

The ideal candidate has 2 to 4 years of practical experience with Amazon Seller Central in the Indian marketplace, preferably with a D2C brand or a specialist agency. You should be able to show measurable impact on ranking or ACOS in past work, and your application should include relevant numbers. Strong English product-copywriting ability is required, while Hindi comprehension is an added advantage. Familiarity with tools such as Helium 10, Jungle Scout, Sellerboard, or similar platforms is expected. This role suits someone who pays close attention to detail, dislikes errors in copy or low-quality visuals, and is comfortable working in a small startup environment where outcomes matter more than task completion alone.

Preferred experience

  • Exposure to 3D-printed, hardware, or maker-oriented product categories.
  • Hands-on work with Brand Registry and IP complaint resolution.
  • Basic working knowledge of Photoshop or Canva for quick image edits.
  • Understanding of Amazon Ads API or bulk operations files.

Compensation and terms

The salary range for this role is ₹25,000 to ₹35,000 per month, depending on experience. A performance bonus of up to ₹3,000 per month is available, along with an additional one month of salary paid quarterly if KPI targets are achieved; the full bonus structure will be explained in the offer letter. The company will cover a Helium 10 or equivalent subscription, and monthly approval is available for creative and photography budgets. Lucknow or Kanpur is preferred, but a remote arrangement with monthly visits can be considered for the right candidate. The role reports directly to the founders.
