Job description

Role overview

We are looking for an Amazon and Marketplace Specialist who knows Amazon Seller Central inside out and can spot listing issues before they become bigger problems. This role is suited to someone who understands how listings, keywords, advertising, and account health connect to marketplace growth, and who consistently delivers accurate, disciplined execution.

The team values high standards, strong processes, and a calm approach to complex marketplace work. You will be working with capable colleagues, with the support to improve your craft without burning out or taking shortcuts.

What success in this role looks like

  • Owning listings, cases, and marketplace data with care and precision.
  • Making live updates to Amazon ASINs and understanding how small errors can affect performance or account health.
  • Keeping work organized through SOPs, checklists, clean file management, and dependable follow-through.
  • Identifying problems early and handling suppressions, rejections, and account issues before they escalate.
  • Working confidently across listings, SEO, advertising data, and reporting while maintaining accuracy.

Marketplace execution and Amazon Seller Central

You should be comfortable navigating Seller Central without hesitation. That includes finding listing quality reports, suppression alerts, account health notices, and case history; opening and managing support cases from start to finish; and escalating issues thoughtfully when needed.

The role also involves updating listing elements such as titles, bullet points, backend attributes, A+ content, and images, while double-checking every detail before anything goes live.

SEO, keywords, and performance optimization

This position requires a strong understanding of how keywords, content, and conversion rates work together. Experience using tools such as Helium 10 or a similar platform to research keywords, monitor ranking changes, and support listing updates is important. The focus is on improving performance in a measured way, not just adding keywords for the sake of it.

Advertising and campaign coordination

You should understand the role Amazon advertising plays across the full funnel, including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Amazon DSP. The work includes exporting and organizing campaign data correctly, identifying weak keywords, ASINs, audiences, placements, or campaigns, and raising concerns early.

You will be expected to follow existing structures and naming conventions and avoid making unaligned changes to bids, targeting, budgets, or campaign structure.

Data quality and reporting discipline

Strong spreadsheet habits are essential. Reports must be accurate, formulas preserved, dates aligned, and formatting consistent. The expectation is that anyone reviewing your work can trust the data because it has already been carefully checked.

Working style and team fit

Success here also depends on how you work with others. You will collaborate with Marketplace, Marketing, Creative, and agency partners, communicate clearly, ask thoughtful questions, and raise blockers early. A low-ego, solutions-oriented mindset is important.

The environment can move quickly, with multiple listings, active campaigns, and tight deadlines. Staying organized and maintaining consistency under pressure is part of the role.

Preferred experience

Experience with Walmart Seller Center or other marketplaces is a plus. Exposure to regulated or health-related product categories is also helpful, especially where accuracy and compliance are important. International marketplace experience is likewise beneficial, though not required.

Personal qualities required

  • You are humble and place team needs ahead of personal ego.
  • You are eager to learn and keep improving.
  • You are people-smart and work well as a teammate.

Compensation and benefits

Salary will be discussed later in the process. Compensation is described as above market for the right candidate, with pay intended to reflect the skills and experience you bring.

  • A generous healthcare package
  • Monthly team events and activities
  • Flexible statutory holidays, with the option to bank days for later use

Application requirements

Applicants are asked to submit a resume and a cover letter together in one document. Applications without a cover letter will not be reviewed.

The cover letter should address why you are the strongest candidate for the role, include measurable examples of relevant achievements, explain how your values align with the company’s values, share the toughest challenge you have ever overcome and how you handled it, list the last three books you read, and describe what you enjoy doing for fun.

You should also explain what you are currently doing for work. If you are employed, explain why you are exploring a new opportunity; if you are not employed, explain why. The hiring process is intentionally detailed, and the company is looking to hire quickly once the right person is found.

Additional notes

This role is intended for someone who genuinely enjoys marketplace operations and can thrive in a high-standard environment. The company emphasizes culture, hard work, and enjoyment of the team experience.
