Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Aluminium & Glass Manager based full-time on-site in Mumbai. The role involves comprehensive oversight of aluminium and glass installations across residential and commercial projects, ensuring adherence to design, safety, and quality benchmarks. This position requires leadership of installation teams, coordination with contractors and vendors, and diligent progress tracking to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
Key Duties
- Oversee installation activities and supervise site teams specialized in aluminium and glass work.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors to align work with technical specifications and project timelines.
- Prepare and review detailed project plans, material requirements, and progress schedules.
- Conduct frequent site visits to resolve technical challenges and maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate regularly with project managers, architects, and clients to ensure seamless integration of aluminium and glass components into projects.
Candidate Profile and Skills
- Extensive understanding of aluminium and glass systems including fabrication, installation, and finishing for doors, windows, facades, and partitions.
- Proven experience in project supervision, site coordination, and workflow management within construction or real estate sectors.
- Knowledgeable in applicable building codes, safety protocols, and quality assurance practices related to aluminium and glass installations.
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings and technical specifications effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for managing interactions with site personnel, contractors, and clients.
- Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously and efficiently prioritizing tasks under tight deadlines.
- Previous managerial or supervisory experience in the aluminium, glass, or facade industry is highly desirable.
- Educational qualifications such as a Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or similar disciplines are preferred.
- Basic proficiency in computer applications including MS Office; familiarity with CAD or comparable design software is a plus.
- Demonstrated commitment to maintaining safety, quality, and ethical standards on-site.
