About the Role

At Seniorenhaus "Am Stumpen" in Riegelsberg, we are seeking an Alltagsbegleiter*in (Everyday Companion) to join our team. This position involves enriching the daily lives of our residents through engaging activities and support. The role is part-time with work hours ranging from 19.25 to 28.52 per week and is initially limited to one year under the TV AWO Saarland EG pay scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver meaningful daily activities tailored to the residents' needs and interests.
• Contribute your skills and ideas to design stimulating life-world experiences for our residents.
• Actively participate in both individual and group engagement sessions.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Completed advanced training as a Betreuungskraft (care assistant) according to §43b or §53c SGB XI (formerly §87b), or an equivalent qualification.
• Strong social skills and empathy in supporting elderly residents.
• Creativity and the ability to motivate and inspire people.

Additional Information

• The contract is initially fixed for one year.
• Work is based on-site at the Seniorenhaus "Am Stumpen" in Riegelsberg.
