Job Overview
Japanese cafe Ken’s Kissa, located in Neutral Bay, NSW, is seeking an enthusiastic all-rounder to join their team. This role requires versatility in both front-of-house and kitchen duties within a commercial kitchen environment, offering a rewarding and stimulating work experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service, including taking orders and serving.
- Perform cooking and kitchen assistance, including fry station and grill sections.
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience in cooking or customer service is preferred.
- Moderate English language skills enabling effective communication.
- Preferably experienced in commercial kitchen operations.

Working Conditions
- Work hours range from 3 to 8 hours per day.

The cafe is situated conveniently opposite a Neutral Bay bus stop, approximately 10 minutes by bus from the Sydney city center. The environment is semi-open kitchen style, fostering a warm and homey atmosphere. The clientele is mostly local regular customers, with authentic Japanese breakfasts and Western dishes on offer.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly wage determined during interview, with preference given to experienced applicants.
