Aircraft Technician - Line Maintenance

The expert team is committed to excellence and safety across maintenance, engineering, quality assurance, planning, and logistics functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and approved structural repairs on aircraft, engines, and components, following manufacturer guidelines and adhering strictly to safety protocols, including fluid replenishment, refuelling, and system servicing.
• Execute component replacements and other maintenance tasks as assigned by the supervisor, utilizing Aircraft Maintenance Manuals, Illustrated Parts Catalogues, Component Maintenance Manuals, or other approved documentation.
• Support Licensed Aircraft Engineers with troubleshooting, defect correction, and modification implementations, following job card instructions.
• Contribute to fostering a safety-first culture by minimizing accident risks, promptly reporting hazards or failures, maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in all work areas, and ensuring all surroundings including ramps, vehicles, stands, and lockers remain free of foreign object debris (FOD). Regularly audit and maintain toolboxes.
• Comply with airport safety regulations, maintain an active Airport Driving Permit, and fully adhere to airport maneuvering area policies.
• Collaborate with supervisors on performance management, leveraging the MyBC system to develop and pursue training and development goals.
• Ensure timely completion of all assigned tasks to optimize aircraft ground time and minimize operational disruptions, including receiving status updates from Licensed Aircraft Engineers and communicating defects promptly during shift handovers.
• Utilize current maintenance knowledge to assist with resource allocation using RMS/RTC tools as necessary.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Educational background: Graduate level (12+2 schooling completed).
• Completed apprenticeship or equivalent training in aircraft maintenance with a reputable airline or approved maintenance organization, or hold an Engineering Aircraft Maintenance License.
