Overview
Join a leading aviation group as an Aircraft Mechanic specializing in the Galley Insert Shop within the Avionics sector. Your role involves adhering to approved technical directives, internal standards, and safety regulations to ensure timely and quality completion of aircraft component maintenance, particularly galley inserts such as ovens and beverage makers.
Primary Duties
- Complete assigned technical tasks efficiently, delivering high-quality service to aircraft customers.
- Operate and maintain workshop tools and equipment to meet task deadlines.
- Interpret technical information across typical activities to sustain smooth operations without constant supervision.
- Assist with additional related departmental responsibilities as directed by leadership.
- Ensure adherence to company health and safety protocols, promoting team awareness regarding safety issues.
- Achieve compliance with QCAA/EASA PART-145 aviation standards and quality benchmarks.
- Exemplify leadership and motivate colleagues by setting a positive standard.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school or vocational diploma with at least 3 years relevant experience, or bachelor's degree with 2 years experience.
- Formal certification or diploma/license in Aircraft Maintenance is required.
- Basic ICAO Type II license is mandatory.
- Trade-related certifications and OEM component specific training.
- Knowledge of soldering and Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS).
- At least one year of hands-on experience working with galley inserts (e.g. ovens, air chillers, freezers, trash compactors, beverage makers) in a recognized airline workshop.
- Recognized aeronautical or technical certificates and reinforcement training in the trade.
