Role summary
Menzies Aviation is seeking a dependable, detail-focused aircraft cleaner to support aircraft presentation and cleanliness in Edinburgh. The role calls for someone who works with care, maintains high standards, and follows health and safety rules at all times while helping deliver a safe and professional experience for customers.
The business has operated since 1833 and works across more than 290 locations in 65 countries and 6 continents, providing time-critical logistics services for the aviation sector.
What the role involves
- Keep seat pocket contents organised and restocked when needed.
- Clean passenger areas to the standards required by the customer, including meal trays, overhead bins and windows.
- Maintain toilet and galley spaces to a high standard, including mirrors, floors and stainless-steel surfaces.
- Replace onboard linen items such as pillows and blankets where required.
- After training, operate toilet and water trucks.
Health, safety and compliance
You are expected to take reasonable care of your own health and safety, as well as that of others around you. All tasks must be completed in line with the training provided and any relevant workplace safety procedures or instructions.
Candidate profile
The ideal applicant is motivated, enthusiastic and able to work with strong attention to detail. Some cleaning experience is preferred. You should take pride in delivering excellent service and helping to keep aircraft environments clean, safe and presentable.

- A complete 5-year history covering work, unemployment or education
- Valid passport
- Proof of National Insurance
- Proof of current address
- Full and valid UK driving licence
- Evidence of the right to work in the UK
