About the Role
This position centers on managing airline ticketing policies and keeping fare-related content accurate across sales channels. The role involves monitoring market movement, coordinating with airline and supplier partners, and using policy data to improve profitability, competitiveness, and customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the launch, revision, and ongoing upkeep of airline and supplier policies across OTA, B2B, and other sales channels.
- Refine deployment approaches using policy characteristics and market movement to improve commercial outcomes.
- Gather, structure, and review sales policies from regional airlines and suppliers, including fares, cabin conditions, and refund/reissue rules, then apply them according to market needs.
- Track airfare and policy changes across channels and update strategies quickly to preserve price competitiveness.
- Work with the commercial team to coordinate with airlines and suppliers, secure updated policy resources, and keep sales systems synchronized.
- Study regional revenue, demand trends, and competitor activity to build tailored policy deployment plans.
- Improve policy mixes based on sales performance and customer feedback to raise conversion and satisfaction levels.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Strong spoken and written English skills for documentation and business communication.
- At least 1 year of experience in international airfare policy management or OTA platform operations.
- Working knowledge of GDS platforms such as Amadeus and Sabre, along with airline fare rule structures, is an advantage.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and database tools for analysis and reporting.
- Able to learn quickly, stay alert to airline policy changes and market shifts, and react promptly.
- Good collaborator with strong communication skills and willingness to work overtime or adjust hours for time-zone requirements.
- Must have valid legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
- Experience in B2B channel coordination or the corporate travel sector is preferred.
