Job Overview
We are currently looking to hire a dedicated Filter Changer responsible for replacing, cleaning, and maintaining various air filters to keep systems operating efficiently. This role involves traveling to different sites including schools, industries, and chain stores. The position requires willingness to travel and occasionally stay overnight, with company-provided accommodation and per diem for such instances. Additionally, the company supplies a vehicle for routes, a gas card, uniforms, and a company phone.
Key Responsibilities
- Replace air filters in school systems, industrial locations, and retail chains.
- Clean filters thoroughly to remove dirt, debris, and contaminants.
- Inspect filters regularly for any signs of damage or wear and replace them if necessary.
- Keep detailed records of all filter changes and maintenance performed.
- Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and protocols while handling filters and operating equipment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High attention to detail to ensure correct installation and maintenance of filters.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools such as screwdrivers.
- Strong organizational abilities and excellent communication skills to coordinate with dispatch and keep track of filter maintenance schedules.
Working Hours and Conditions
- Full-time employment with 40 to 60 hours per week.
- Shifts may vary between 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour shifts.
- Work schedule is primarily Monday through Friday, with the possibility of overtime.
