AI Training Engineer

About the role

This opportunity is for an AI Training Engineer to support the advancement of artificial intelligence systems. You would join a large coding community made up of more than 100,000 professionals across front-end, back-end, full-stack, machine learning, and other engineering backgrounds, all contributing to practical AI development work.

The work combines flexibility with technical challenge. You will collaborate with advanced AI models on programming assignments such as solving difficult coding challenges, creating applications with strong functionality and design, and turning data into useful analysis and visualizations. Your contributions help improve intelligent systems that continue to learn and evolve.

Some contributors use this work alongside another full-time job, while others make it their main focus and select projects and hours that match their availability and personal goals.

How the process works

After creating an account, you will complete a brief assessment that acts as the screening step. If successful, you will receive confirmation by email and paid assignments will be made available through the platform.

Responsibilities

• Create and solve a variety of coding tasks that help train AI systems, with a specific focus on Android development.
• Produce clean code examples along with clear, detailed explanations.
• Review AI-generated code for correctness, speed, and readability.
• Share feedback that helps guide the improvement of future AI models.

Requirements

• Strong command of English at a native or bilingual level.
• Preferred hands-on experience with Kotlin.
• Working knowledge of at least one language or framework from the following set: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, or Swift.
• Good writing ability and solid grammar.
• A completed or currently ongoing bachelor’s degree.
• Prior background as a software developer, coder, software engineer, or programmer is an advantage.

This is an independent contractor role. The opportunity is open only to candidates located in the US, Canada, the UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. Applicants outside these countries will not see work or assessments on the platform at this time.
