Job description
Overview
Join Expleo Group as an AI Solution Architect to design cutting-edge machine learning and AI solutions from initial concept through deployment. You will develop and manage advanced MLOps pipelines, enhance model scalability and efficiency, and ensure compliance and security standards. Collaborating closely with data scientists, engineers, and various stakeholders, you will drive AI innovation while supporting the team through guidance and mentorship.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and scale enterprise-level AI and ML systems.
- Construct and refine MLOps pipelines including CI/CD, deployment, monitoring, and retraining workflows.
- Optimize model performance and orchestrate deployment in production environments.
- Guarantee robustness, fairness, compliance, and security within AI applications.
- Work intimately with data scientists and engineers on data pipelines, feature stores, and model validation processes.
- Select and integrate modern AI tools, frameworks, and architectural patterns.
- Contribute to defining standards, best practices, and strategic roadmaps for AI and ML initiatives.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to junior and mid-level engineers.
Qualifications
- Several years of experience architecting, implementing, and operating AI and ML solutions.
- Strong expertise in Generative AI, large language models, multimodal models, and retrieval augmented generation including architecture design, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and agent orchestration.
- Hands-on experience with frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or Haystack.
- Advanced programming proficiency in Python and practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks), containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
- Familiarity with MLOps tools including MLflow, deployment strategies, observability, and governance.
- Understanding of compliance and security standards such as GDPR, ISO/IEC 27001/27701, and TISAX.
- Skilled in digital solution design and client presentations.
Required Skills
- Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Fluent German (minimum C1 level) and good command of English.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of software engineering principles including clean code, design patterns, and testing methodologies.
- Experience in project or team management methodologies like Scrum and CRISP-DM.
- Experience with local LLM implementations such as Llama.cpp, Ollama, vLLM, Unsloth, and common ML libraries including PyTorch, scikit-learn, and OpenCV.
- Expertise in building AI platforms, e.g., enterprise search, test automation, and coding agents.
- Competence in data analysis using statistics, Tableau, or R.
- Relevant certifications in AI, ML, cloud computing, or software engineering.
