Job description

About the role

This opportunity is for experienced quantitative specialists who want to help improve AI systems. In this position, you will collaborate with advanced models to assess AI-produced quantitative analysis, work through technical problems, and share feedback that influences how these systems reason about data, models, and scientific questions. The role suits people from fields such as data science, astrophysics, economics, biostatistics, operations research, and other quantitative disciplines. Some contributors use it as a side engagement alongside another full-time job, while others make it their main focus.

How the process works

After creating an account, you will complete a brief assessment that functions as the screening step. Candidates who pass will receive confirmation by email, and paid assignments will then become available on the platform.

Contracting advantages

  • You can select the projects you want to take on and decide when you work.
  • The role is designed for flexible, self-managed work from your own computer and home.
  • Compensation starts at USD 50 to USD 100+ per hour, and certain projects may include bonus pay.

Responsibilities

  • Check AI-generated quantitative output for accuracy and whether it holds up in real-world scenarios, including statistical analysis, predictive modeling, scientific reasoning, and data-backed conclusions.
  • Create and solve quantitative tasks used to train and evaluate AI systems, covering forecasting, experimental evaluation, optimization, and statistical inference.
  • Prepare clear technical write-ups and maintain well-documented analytical code.
  • Deliver feedback that helps improve the next generation of AI models focused on quantitative reasoning.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of practical experience in a quantitative role or research setting, such as data science, statistics, economics, finance, physics, biology, epidemiology, operations research, or a related area.
  • Basic coding ability, including confidence in writing and reviewing analytical code from start to finish.
  • Hands-on familiarity with statistical techniques, predictive modeling, and experimental design, including A/B testing, hypothesis testing, regression, classification, and time-series forecasting.
  • Strong English fluency at native or bilingual level, along with excellent writing ability.
  • A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative subject such as Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a similar field is preferred; a master’s degree or PhD is an added advantage.
  • Additional proof of expertise, such as a Kaggle competition ranking or AWS/GCP machine learning certification, is a plus.

Payment and contractor terms

Payment is processed through PayPal, and the company will not request any money from applicants. Any currency conversion from USD is handled by PayPal. This is an independent contractor arrangement.

Location and eligibility

This opportunity is available only to applicants based in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand.
