Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled AI Prompt Engineer to create, advance, and fine-tune prompts that enhance the capabilities of leading large language models (LLMs) and generative AI systems. This position involves developing structured prompting frameworks, elevating AI output quality, and building scalable prompt libraries to support a broad spectrum of business use cases.

Key Responsibilities

Design tailored prompt templates for diverse applications.
Implement multi-step and system instruction prompting strategies.
Assess AI responses to pinpoint and address weaknesses.
Continuously refine prompts through comprehensive testing and iteration processes.
Establish best practices, documentation standards, and quality controls for prompt engineering.
Experiment with advanced techniques such as chain-of-thought prompting, few-shot learning, role-based prompts, structured output formatting, retrieval-augmented prompting, and prompt compression.
Analyze AI behavior across different models to measure effectiveness and suggest improvements.
Develop reusable prompt libraries, version control, testing protocols, and automated validation workflows.
Collaborate with product, engineering, research, operations, and business teams to ensure scalable and maintainable AI solutions.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Linguistics, English, Communications, IT, or related fields.
In-depth knowledge of large language models, generative AI, and prompt engineering principles.
Excellent command of written English to craft clear, precise, and unambiguous instructions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Capability to convert business needs into efficient AI prompts and conversational flows.
Proficiency with prompt design methods including zero-shot, one-shot, few-shot, role and instruction prompting, as well as multi-step prompts.
Understanding of AI output evaluation methods, benchmarking, and iterative enhancements.
Familiarity with natural language processing concepts and AI model behaviors.
Experience creating reusable prompt templates and maintaining documentation standards.
Knowledge of structured data formats such as JSON, Markdown, YAML, or XML is advantageous.
Preferred experience with AI platforms, APIs, automation tools, or orchestration workflows.
Understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, knowledge retrieval, and context optimization is beneficial.
Basic programming skills in Python, SQL, JavaScript, or similar scripting languages are a plus.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects effectively.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Capability to analyze AI-generated content, detect errors, minimize hallucinations, and improve consistency.
Meticulous attention to detail and dedication to quality assurance and ongoing improvement.
Genuine interest in emerging AI trends and evolving language model technologies.
Independent work ethics combined with effective teamwork in cross-functional environments.
