AI Product Manager

The role of AI Product Manager is highly influential and demands strong business insight, technical knowledge, and client engagement skills to successfully launch AI-driven digital products.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead the entire product lifecycle, from discovery to delivery, by defining a clear product strategy and roadmap.
• Convert vague business problems into precise product specifications and prioritize features effectively.
• Set the product vision, positioning, and manage trade-offs to align with business goals.
• Drive product decisions that consider user needs, technical feasibility, and business objectives.
• Engage confidently with clients and stakeholders, conducting workshops, presentations, and fostering relationships particularly with enterprise and government entities.
• Translate stakeholder needs into actionable product initiatives and regularly communicate progress to senior leadership.
• Create and maintain key product artifacts such as PRDs, user stories, prototypes, and documentation.
• Work closely with design and engineering teams to ensure aligned and timely product delivery.
• Oversee management of external vendors and technology partners, defining scope, timelines, and ensuring quality outcomes.
• Drive the design and definition of AI-centric product experiences, identifying where AI, automation, language models, and agents add significant value.
• Assess AI technology capabilities and limitations when determining product directions and employ modern AI tooling to accelerate prototyping and validation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with designers, engineers, researchers, and business units to nurture a culture of rapid iteration, experimentation, and continuous enhancement.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in product management with a track record in delivering enterprise or government digital products.
• Strong knowledge of product development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams effectively with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Deep understanding of AI technologies including Generative AI, Large Language Models, AI agents, automation, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal; bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese is favored.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in sectors such as smart cities, IoT, smart home, digital healthcare, or emerging technologies.
• Exposure to startup environments or fast-growing companies.
• Technical experience working with AI or software engineering teams, especially in building AI-powered or intelligent digital products.
