Job description

Role overview

KPMG Jamaica’s Jamaica Extended Support Services (JESS) delivery center in Kingston supports KPMG United States, the client. This full-time role is centered on building and improving a single, enterprise-wide inventory of AI technologies and related components.

What you will do

You will identify, record, and continuously refine information on AI systems, applications, models, agents, integrations, and supporting technology across the organization. Working with teams across business, technology, security, privacy, legal, risk, and governance, you will help ensure the organization has a reliable view of AI usage, ownership, purpose, and lifecycle status.

The role requires strong data handling and information management skills to keep records accurate, close gaps in tracking, and improve the quality of inventory data. You will also produce reports, dashboards, status updates, templates, and process documents that help strengthen operational oversight and responsible AI use.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and continuously update a centralized register of AI systems, tools, use cases, models, agents, integrations, and related technology assets across the enterprise.
  • Collect, confirm, and structure the core information needed for security, governance, compliance, risk, and operational monitoring.
  • Work with business, technology, security, privacy, legal, risk, and governance partners to obtain system details, confirm ownership, and keep records current.
  • Maintain key inventory fields such as business owner, technical owner, purpose, vendor or platform, environment, data classification, model use, integration points, and lifecycle stage.
  • Spot missing information, incomplete entries, outdated items, and ownership problems, then follow up to improve completeness and accuracy.
  • Create reports, dashboards, documentation, process guides, templates, and performance metrics that improve visibility into AI usage and support responsible AI enablement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar discipline.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in information security, technology risk, IT governance, data management, compliance, business analysis, or a comparable technology function.
  • Prior exposure to SharePoint, Power BI, Archer, ServiceNow, or similar reporting, workflow, GRC, or inventory tools is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of AI-enabled systems, software applications, cloud services, vendor platforms, data movement, integrations, and technology ownership structures.
  • Strong ability to organize, structure, verify, and maintain detailed information across several stakeholders, systems, and workstreams.
  • Comfortable working with unclear or incomplete information, identifying gaps, following up with stakeholders, and driving tasks through to completion with high attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication, analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and sound independent judgment.
  • Strong project management, time management, and coordination skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Work conditions

The JESS team follows a hybrid arrangement, allowing staff to work from home in Jamaica or from the office. Employees must be present in the office at least 5 days per month, and additional in-office time may be needed based on business requirements.

You will be expected to use KPMG-approved generative AI tools in day-to-day tasks. The environment is fast-paced, largely paperless, and requires full-day use of information systems to access data and complete work.

Extended working hours may occasionally be required, including on public holidays.

Why join

  • Join a team working on the future of AI governance and control.
  • Collaborate with international experts and diverse stakeholders.
  • Be part of an inclusive, energetic, and development-focused workplace.
  • Receive competitive pay and benefits.
