Overview
This opportunity is offered on behalf of a partner company based in Germany seeking a skilled AI Engineer specializing in Agentic AI and Automation. The role focuses on transforming traditional software development by leveraging autonomous AI systems and intelligent process automation to enhance operational efficiency and accelerate product innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and manage autonomous multi-agent AI platforms capable of planning, reasoning, and carrying out sophisticated engineering workflows.
- Design AI-enhanced development tools that automate coding tasks including generation, refactoring, and code review throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Develop intelligent testing frameworks that automatically create, execute, and optimize integration and end-to-end tests following application updates.
- Build agentic workflows for monitoring production environments, automating incident detection, performing root cause analysis, and suggesting remediation measures.
- Integrate AI agents effectively and securely with APIs, databases, code repositories, and enterprise tools using scalable function-call architectures.
- Implement dependable agent memory, state management, and execution infrastructure to support long-duration autonomous operations.
- Establish stringent safety protocols, execution safeguards, and governance mechanisms to guarantee secure, reliable AI performance.
- Identify repetitive engineering tasks and rapidly develop automated solutions that enhance developer productivity and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Strong foundation in software engineering with professional proficiency in Python, Go, Java, or other similar languages.
- Extensive hands-on experience designing and deploying agentic AI solutions using frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or equivalently advanced technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of contemporary AI reasoning methodologies including ReAct, Plan-and-Solve patterns, multi-agent collaboration, and autonomous workflow orchestration.
- Proven capability in building AI-driven developer tools, repository-aware automation systems, advanced prompting techniques, and coding assistants.
- Experience in developing dependable AI systems emphasizing execution quality, safety measures, scalability, and enterprise-grade robustness.
- Strong enthusiasm for automating manual processes into intelligent, autonomous solutions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a facility for rapid prototyping of innovative automation concepts.
- Fluency in English communication, both written and verbal, ensuring effective collaboration within diverse technical teams.
