Company Overview
Single Grain LLC operates as a Revenue Marketing agency specializing in sustainable pipeline systems instead of fleeting campaigns. It has empowered over 500 clients, ranging from startups to Fortune 500 firms, delivering measurable growth and generating an average 3.2x ROI. Their service portfolio spans enterprise digital marketing including SEO, paid media, creative strategy, and AI-driven growth solutions, alongside proprietary platforms like ClickFlow for content optimization, Karrot for LinkedIn ad management, and Single Brain for client operations management.
Role Summary
The AI Creative Strategist role at Single Grain is designed for a highly versatile, AI-driven creative professional capable of managing multiple creative disciplines — spanning motion graphics, UGC video editing, static design, and strategic copywriting — to produce comprehensive marketing assets independently. The position demands fluency in AI tools to enhance speed and quality while maintaining a high craftsmanship standard, adapting rapidly to emerging technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Transform concepts into finalized creative outputs including motion ads, UGC-style videos, short clips, and static visuals according to project demand.
- Engage actively in strategic development and copy creation, shaping creative messaging and scripts beyond mere execution.
- Develop and optimize AI-assisted workflows enabling solo coverage of tasks traditionally requiring teams without compromising quality.
- Generate multi-format creative sets from single briefs, integrating video and static content for paid campaign testing.
- Acquire and apply deep client insights regarding brand voice and conversion drivers for each creative piece.
- Manage multiple client accounts concurrently, providing fresh creative assets aligned with campaign and event schedules prioritizing workload efficiently.
- Collaborate with paid media teams to analyze performance data, generating variant creatives based on fatigue and success indicators.
- Continuously assess and integrate new AI creative technologies into existing workflows.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven expertise across motion graphics (After Effects, Premiere), video editing, and static design (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) with a multi-disciplinary approach.
- Strong ability to produce short-form, UGC-style video content including editing of creator, stock, and AI-generated footage for social media and advertising.
- Competency in scriptwriting and strategic messaging to develop compelling narratives and marketing angles.
- Hands-on experience with generative AI creative tools such as Runway, Kling, Sora, Veo for video, and Midjourney, Gemini for image generation, coupled with critical judgment in refining outputs.
- Familiarity with Claude Code and aptitude for designing AI-enabled creative workflows.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum three years of professional experience in motion-centric creative production supported by a demonstrable portfolio covering diverse formats.
- Highly adaptable and comfortable handling design, video, and strategy collectively rather than being narrowly specialized.
- A proactive learner with a habit of promptly experimenting with emerging tools ahead of formal adoption.
- Strong craftsmanship standards balancing AI automation with manual refinement.
- Capability to originate creative angles and scripts independently.
- Efficient at managing multiple client projects simultaneously with deep brand understanding leading to minimal briefing requirements.
- Collaborative mindset sharing workflows and prompts to enhance team productivity.
- Optional advantage: experience in designing and implementing landing pages via platforms like HubSpot for cohesive post-click user experiences.
Interdepartmental Collaboration
The position reports to the Creative Lead and regularly collaborates with the paid media team and client production units to coordinate content creation and campaign execution. Client interaction occurs occasionally to present or align on creative concepts, primarily through account leads.
Position Clarifications
- This role is not suited for specialists focused solely on a single domain such as design, editing, strategy, or prompting.
- It requires a hybrid approach leveraging both AI capabilities and manual craftsmanship.
- The strategist is expected to actively contribute creative ideas without relying solely on detailed briefs.
- It involves juggling multiple client projects rather than being dedicated to one account.
- The creative environment is dynamic with constantly evolving tools, demanding continuous adaptability.
