About the Role

Quantum Valley is looking for a diligent AI Content Moderator to oversee and evaluate both user- and AI-generated content across multiple digital platforms. Your role will ensure adherence to community standards, platform policies, and regulatory requirements, fostering a secure and respectful online environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess flagged digital content including text, images, videos, and audio for policy compliance.
  • Apply moderation guidelines consistently and document decisions with precision.
  • Escalate complex or high-risk cases to the relevant teams following defined procedures.
  • Collaborate with Trust & Safety, Operations, Quality Assurance, Product, Legal, and AI teams to enhance moderation processes.
  • Monitor emerging misuse trends and identify gaps in moderation policies to improve community safety.
  • Support AI-driven moderation workflows by validating AI model outputs and annotating data as required.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive content and comply with organizational policies.
  • Contribute to enhancements in training, documentation, and quality assurance protocols.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Communications, Media Studies, Psychology, Business Administration, IT, Linguistics, Social Sciences, or related fields.
  • In-depth knowledge of content moderation standards, online safety, and digital platform governance.
  • Strong comprehension, communication, and documentation abilities.
  • Analytical and critical thinking with sound judgment for decision making in dynamic settings.
  • Capability to handle sensitive or graphic content with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Experience with AI-generated content and AI-assisted moderation workflows is a plus.
  • Familiarity with data annotation, quality assurance, and review processes is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based operational platforms, including ticketing and case management tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills, able to multitask and meet productivity standards efficiently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across diverse teams.
  • Understanding of data privacy, confidentiality, compliance, and responsible AI use.
  • Proactive in identifying trends and providing constructive feedback to refine moderation processes.
  • Adaptable to changes in policies, tools, and operational demands.
  • Professionalism combined with empathy in dealing with user interactions and moderation decisions.
  • Dedicated to continuous improvement and upholding a safe, trustworthy online space.
