Job description
Role overview
This opportunity is being presented for a partner organization that handles the application process and all subsequent hiring steps. The company is seeking an AI Automation Specialist located in Ireland. The role is remote-first and suited to someone who enjoys turning operational problems into practical, AI-enabled systems that save time and improve how teams work.
You will help design and launch automation solutions across a growing international business, focusing on removing repetitive work, improving workflows, and supporting better decisions. The environment encourages experimentation, so you will be expected to test new AI tools, build prototypes, refine existing automations, and create solutions that can scale across departments.
What you'll do
- Develop AI-driven workflows and automations that cut down manual effort and improve efficiency across different teams.
- Create intelligent agents that can help with tasks such as routing information, supporting decisions, and optimizing processes.
- Use automation platforms and light scripting to quickly prototype solutions based on business needs.
- Set up and maintain system integrations using tools such as n8n, Zapier, Make, Monday.com, and Slack.
- Work with APIs, webhooks, JavaScript, and Python to connect services and extend what the tools can do.
- Track, diagnose, and enhance automations so they remain reliable, scalable, and effective.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to uncover automation opportunities and improve processes.
- Produce clear documentation and help teams adopt AI-powered workflows successfully.
- Assess emerging AI technologies, run proof-of-concepts, and suggest upgrades to current systems.
What we're looking for
- Practical experience creating automations with platforms such as n8n, Zapier, Make, Monday.com, or similar tools.
- Strong curiosity about AI, workflow automation, and improving business processes.
- Working knowledge of APIs, webhooks, integrations, and how modern systems communicate with each other.
- Basic scripting or programming ability in JavaScript and/or Python.
- Experience using AI tools to shape ideas, build prototypes, or improve workflows.
- Good analytical thinking and a structured, problem-solving approach.
- Ability to explain technical topics in a clear way to non-technical colleagues.
- Strong focus on detail, documentation quality, and process clarity.
- Awareness of data privacy, security, and responsible AI practices.
- Exposure to AI agents, LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, or automation in tools like Jira or Intercom would be an advantage.
Benefits and working environment
- 100% remote setup with flexibility across global locations.
- Company-provided work equipment, including a laptop, headphones, and accessories.
- Career progression supported through training and development opportunities.
- Quarterly reviews for performance-based growth and compensation adjustments.
- Fitness reimbursement available from the first day, with an additional health budget after one year.
- Annual budget for self-development, courses, and professional learning.
- Paid time off starts at 22 days and increases each year up to 26 days.
- An extra birthday day off is granted after one year of employment.
- A collaborative and experimental culture focused on innovation and continuous improvement.
