About the Role
We are seeking a sharp-minded Agile Tester to join our Quality Assurance team within the Public Authorities Division as soon as possible. The position is available at one of our locations in Berlin, Dresden, or Munich, with the option to work remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure software quality assurance in a dynamic agile Scrum team environment.
- Plan, execute, and document both manual and automated tests effectively.
- Create detailed test specifications derived from user stories.
- Conduct comprehensive end-to-end testing for a Remote Administration Server within the SINA environment.
- Identify, assess, and prioritize risks as part of risk management activities.
- Maintain and evolve existing test automation frameworks.
- Contribute to shaping and utilizing modern quality assurance infrastructures.
Candidate Profile
- Completed degree in computer science or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience working in agile software projects and familiarity with Scrum methodology.
- Advantageous but not mandatory: understanding of networking and Linux systems.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Groovy preferred.
- Meticulous, well-organized, and self-directed working approach.
- ISTQB certification (Foundation Level or Agile Tester Extension) is desirable.
- Proficiency in both German and English languages.
- Familiarity with tools including Jira, Confluence, TestLink, and Polarion.
