Job description

Overview

This role involves applying foundational Agile delivery knowledge to back team efforts and aid organizational Agile transformation. The consultant will actively engage in Agile ceremonies, help address blockers, and advocate Agile methodologies to boost collaboration and delivery efficiency within teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in and facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Identify and escalate obstacles impacting team progress.
  • Apply Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban to support transformation and team operations independently.
  • Collaborate with peers and stakeholders advocating continuous improvement and Agile best practices.
  • Assist in gathering and reporting Agile metrics and team performance indicators.
  • Contribute to Agile training sessions and share knowledge within the team.
  • Support adoption and effective use of Agile-related tools and technologies.
  • Work under guidance to implement Agile best practices and delivery methodologies.
  • Promote cross-functional teamwork to reach delivery objectives.
  • Continuously enhance one's Agile skills through ongoing learning and practical application.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or similar education and experience.
  • At least 5 years experience in Agile delivery or related technical roles.
  • Basic knowledge of Agile frameworks including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Experience in active participation in Agile ceremonies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Agile Fundamentals are desirable.
  • Familiarity with Agile project management software like Jira.
  • Passion for continuous process improvement and Agile methodologies.
  • Technical background or experience in software development or related areas.

Additional Information

The position requires approximately 25% travel. This is a regular, full-time role primarily on the first shift within the United States, requiring English fluency.
