Role Summary

TCS is conducting a walk-in drive in Chennai for an AEM Senior Tech Lead / AEM Technical Lead. The role calls for 7 to 12 years of experience and strong hands-on capability in Adobe Experience Manager across AEM 6.5, AMS, and AEMaaCS environments.

Core Responsibilities

The position involves leading AEM solution design and architecture, coordinating work across front-end and back-end teams, and supporting client communication with both onsite and offshore teams. The role also includes managing deployments, integrations, documentation, and delivery across Agile/Scrum-based projects.

Required Technical Background

Candidates should bring strong exposure to integration with APIs and Adobe Experience Cloud products such as Target, Analytics, AEM Forms, and DTM. A solid working knowledge of Java, JSP, Servlets, Ajax, XML, jQuery, and JSON is expected, along with experience integrating web services through SOAP and REST.

Architecture and Platform Experience

The role requires architecting experience in AEM and Adobe Experience Cloud, including deployment architecture. Applicants should be comfortable with Java Content Repository APIs, Sling, and Apache Felix OSGi, and should have worked with AEM Assets in cloud service environments.

Implementation and Delivery Expectations

Strong experience is needed in AEM/CQ/DAM upgrades and migrations, MSM and DevOps architecture, dispatcher configuration, workflows, and headless implementations. The job also expects ownership of standard project documentation, including design deliverables.

Desired Additional Experience

Preferred qualifications include Adobe AEM Architect certification, practical knowledge of Java design patterns, familiarity with AEM best practices for templates, components, and dialogs, and working experience with tools such as Maven, Git, Jenkins, Sonar, and CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of use-case documentation, test-script preparation, business analysis modeling tools, and consulting experience will be an advantage.
