Job description

Role Summary

The Admissions Officer will coordinate the student admission journey from first enquiry to enrolment, while also helping build a positive and responsive relationship with parents. The position calls for strong communication abilities, sound knowledge of the school’s philosophy and offerings, and comfort with day-to-day administrative work.

Admissions Process Management

  • Respond to questions from prospective parents and students.
  • Lead campus visits and explain the school’s programmes, facilities, and core values in detail.
  • Support families throughout application submission and enrolment steps.
  • Review and process student applications, making sure all required documents are in place.

Parent Relationship Management

  • Act as the main contact for admission-related and general school queries from parents.
  • Develop and maintain constructive relationships with families to support a welcoming school community.
  • Handle parent concerns or complaints quickly, professionally, and with care.
  • Plan and support parent engagement events and activities.

Communication and Marketing

  • Work with the marketing team to design and run admission-focused campaigns.
  • Create and circulate admission collateral such as brochures, newsletters, and digital content.
  • Keep communication records for both prospective and existing parents accurate and current.

Administrative Support

  • Help organise and deliver school events and other activities.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for leadership on admission trends and parent feedback.
  • Maintain and update the school database and CRM tools.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in Education, Communication, Marketing, or a similar discipline is required. Prior experience in admissions or a customer-facing role, ideally in an educational environment, is preferred. The role also needs excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, good organisational ability, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems is expected.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of the regional education system and admission workflows.
  • Background in planning and coordinating events.
  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information responsibly.
