About Codetrain
Codetrain is dedicated to empowering ambitious Africans by providing high-quality education in Software Engineering, Digital Product Design, and Artificial Intelligence. Our goal is to facilitate meaningful career opportunities and transform lives through skill development.
Role Overview
We are seeking an Admissions & Enrolment Officer to join our team full-time at our East Legon campus in Accra. You will serve as the initial contact for prospective students, building trust and understanding their aspirations. Your role involves consulting and guiding applicants throughout the admissions process and ensuring they enroll in the programs that best match their goals. This is a relationship-driven role rather than a sales-focused position.
Key Responsibilities
- Promptly respond to inquiries via phone, WhatsApp, email, and social media platforms.
- Assess and qualify prospective students to suggest the most appropriate programs.
- Guide candidates through the admission and enrolment procedures effectively.
- Maintain consistent communication with qualified applicants to encourage enrolment.
- Accurately manage the admissions pipeline using the CRM system.
- Assist in organizing orientations, open days, and other admissions-related events.
- Meet monthly enrolment targets while delivering excellent applicant experience.
- Provide feedback to enhance admissions, marketing strategies, and student engagement.
Candidate Requirements
- Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) from an accredited institution.
- One to three years’ experience in admissions, recruitment, sales, customer success, business development, or other customer-facing roles.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills coupled with the ability to build rapport.
- Comfortable working towards defined targets and key performance indicators.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and other digital collaboration tools.
- Experience or comfort using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Microsoft Copilot to enhance productivity.
Desired Attributes
- Generosity and persistence in supporting others and overcoming challenges.
- Optimistic attitude with belief in the potential of individuals.
- Receptive to feedback, quick learner, and continuous improver.
- Capability to build trust rapidly.
- Ownership mindset and reliability in following through on tasks.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Empathy, professionalism, and dependability in interactions.
What We Offer
- Opportunity to contribute to transforming lives through technology education.
- Work within an AI-first, rapidly expanding organization.
- Access to mentorship and professional growth opportunities.
- Valuable experience in admissions, relationship management, and consultative sales.
- Competitive compensation supported by performance incentives.
Additional Information
- Applicants should submit a CV, a cover letter explaining their interest, and a 2-3 minute video covering: reasons for joining Codetrain, potential for success in this role, and an example of assisting someone to make a significant decision or achieve a positive result.
- Occasional Saturday attendance is expected for orientations, admissions events, and open days.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
