Admission Counsellor

Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Admission Counsellor to join the Learn4Exam team in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The role involves guiding students aiming for competitive exams such as CAT, IPMAT, and CUET through their admission journey and maximizing enrollment through effective counseling and lead conversion.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand student goals and provide guidance on course selections, including foundation, advanced, and crash courses targeting premier institutes like IIMs and IPMAT-specific colleges.
• Manage leads received via calls, WhatsApp, walk-ins, and online sources; explain course details, faculty strengths, USP, and convert inquiries into enrollments while maintaining important follow-ups for conversions.
• Assess students' academic background and aptitude to develop personalized study plans, identifying weak subjects such as Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning & Data Interpretation, and Verbal Ability.
• Handle the admission process including explaining fee structures, discounts, scholarships, completing formalities, and coordinating batch allocations.
• Maintain strong relationships with students and parents to address concerns involving performance, attendance, or doubts to improve retention and reduce dropouts.
• Support marketing initiatives by participating in seminars at schools and colleges, webinars, workshops, promoting referral programs, and assisting local marketing campaigns.
• Monitor student progress through tests and mock exams, provide feedback and motivation, and coordinate with faculty for tailored improvement plans.
• Maintain and update student databases, track leads, conversions, follow-ups, and CRM regularly.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly admission targets aligned with revenue goals.

Essential Skills and Attributes

• Excellent verbal communication skills in both Hindi and English.
• Strong sales and persuasive abilities.
• Basic understanding of competitive exams like CAT and IPMAT.
• Empathy and patience to effectively work with students.
• A result-focused and goal-oriented mindset.

Additional Information

For senior counsellor roles, additional responsibilities include team leadership, strategic admission planning, and establishing school/college tie-ups.

Compensation

The salary ranges from 10,000 to 35,000 INR per month.
