Job description
Role Overview
Joining the New Jersey Judiciary means becoming part of an 8,500-person workforce committed to independence, integrity, fairness, and high-quality public service. This role contributes to work that affects people’s lives and supports the court system through meaningful administrative and human resources functions. The organization values professionalism, individual dignity, and continuous improvement across courts, offices, training spaces, IT, and field operations.
Compensation
This position offers a salary range of $52,593.71 to $86,166.03 under Schedule A, and $52,593.71 to $81,857.73 under Schedule B. New hires are generally placed at the minimum of the range. For current Judiciary employees, a promotion or advancement usually results in a 5% increase to base pay, capped at the maximum of the applicable range or the minimum of the higher band/level, whichever is greater. Employees hired before June 3, 2014 are considered Schedule A; those hired on or after June 3, 2014, as well as all new hires, are considered Schedule B. The Judiciary also provides strong opportunities for professional growth.
Work Arrangement
The Judiciary follows a hybrid schedule, and this role may allow up to two remote workdays per week outside Judiciary facilities. Participation requires installing a multifactor authentication app on a phone or tablet and maintaining high-speed home internet. Regular, predictable presence at the work location is an essential part of the job.
