Job description
Role Overview
This position supports accurate processing of customer orders in SAP and ensures smooth coordination with planning, production, service, solution engineering, and shipping teams so that deliveries happen on schedule.
Order Processing
- Enter customer orders correctly into SAP.
- Capture technical bills of quantities (BOQ) with all required items.
- Record the agreed payment terms for each order.
- Document and share the requested delivery dates.
Order Coordination and Follow-up
- Liaise regularly with planning, production, and shipping teams.
- Follow up on orders proactively to support on-time delivery.
- Monitor order progress and keep the right stakeholders informed.
Sales and Customer Support
- Support the sales team in tracking customer payments and overdue invoices.
- Communicate with customers about order status, delivery timelines, and any issues.
- Handle recurring MEA-level reporting, including weekly interactions with regional directors.
Qualifications
The role calls for someone with hands-on experience in order entry and customer service, along with strong familiarity with SAP or similar order management tools. A high level of accuracy, strong organization, effective time management, and clear communication are essential. The ability to collaborate smoothly across functions is also important.
