Overview
This is a junior to associate level Administrative Assistant position for a remote-first team in New Zealand. The role is suited to someone who is dependable, highly organized, and comfortable supporting a range of day-to-day business activities that help keep operations running smoothly.
Key responsibilities
- Take care of everyday administrative duties and provide general operational support.
- Arrange meetings, manage calendars, and coordinate appointments.
- Handle email communication and assist with internal correspondence.
- Draft, format, update, and organize documents, reports, and records.
- Support data entry, filing, and basic database upkeep.
- Help coordinate tasks across teams and follow up on action items.
- Contribute ideas to improve administrative workflows and overall efficiency.
Requirements
- Suitable for junior/associate candidates with approximately 0–3+ years of experience.
- Prior exposure to administrative support, office coordination, or a similar function; internships are accepted.
- Strong planning, organization, and multitasking skills.
- Clear written and spoken communication.
- Comfortable working with office productivity tools such as Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Must be based in New Zealand and legally allowed to work full-time.
