Position Overview
The role of Administrative Assistant supports the Program Director by handling clerical duties, managing scheduling, document preparation, data entry, and reception tasks. This full-time, non-exempt role provides an opportunity to engage directly with prison and re-entry programs, enhancing both community impact and professional development in therapeutic community work.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide administrative, secretarial, and receptionist support including organizing itineraries, preparing agendas, coordinating meetings, and drafting correspondence.
- Maintain and organize filing systems, including confidential clinical records.
- Manage visitor reception, screen and direct calls and correspondence.
- Participate in committee meetings and assist in gathering statistical and narrative data for reports or proposals.
- Coordinate routine administrative data entry related to faculty and training records.
- Oversee the logistics for routine in-service training sessions.
- Engage actively in Amity community building events and activities.
- Continuously develop understanding of Therapeutic Community program operations.
- Attend assigned workshops, meetings, and training sessions.
- Serve additionally as a Community Advocate when requested.
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned.

Compensation and Benefits
