Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Administration Officer to join our proactive and growing administrative team at our Brisbane office. You will support Project Managers by managing project-related administrative tasks, including tender preparation, estimates, invoicing, and maintaining accurate records. Additionally, you will provide general office support to ensure smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support projects through job setup, preparing estimates, invoicing, and accurate record keeping.
- Handle general administrative duties such as organizing social events, coordinating travel, booking conferences, and managing phone communications.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate data entry into company databases.
- Respond to emails, assist client inquiries, and support internal teams effectively.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and administrative staff to ensure efficient workflow.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in administrative roles, preferably within surveying, construction, or related fields.
- Exceptional organisational skills with strong time management and keen attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Adobe PDF, and other data entry software.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to adapt and learn continuously.
- Basic accounting and invoicing experience is beneficial.
- Tertiary qualifications in business, administration, or related fields are highly desirable.
