Position Overview
Reporting directly to the Treasury Manager, the Accounts Receivable Specialist plays a crucial role within the finance department. The incumbent will be responsible for accurately and promptly managing incoming payments and account balances, ensuring the company's cash flow and financial records remain precise. The role offers significant autonomy and the chance to foster internal and external relationships while driving workflows that enhance efficiency.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Handle processing and allocation of incoming payments.
- Reconcile the Accounts Receivable ledger and investigate any unallocated funds.
- Detect and resolve discrepancies and address client inquiries swiftly.
- Manage and process direct debit batches regularly.
- Utilize the company’s specialized wholesale fuel software system on a daily basis.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- At least five years of experience in an Accounts Receivable or comparable administrative position.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks.
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
