Accounts Receivable Officer

Overview

Jain Petroleum Consultancy is seeking a detail-oriented Credit Control Executive to join their Accounts Department and manage credit activities across multiple petrol pump locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Track and monitor fuel sales with credit extended to customers, including outstanding balances and credit limits for each party.
• Ensure customer credit usage stays within authorized boundaries.
• Verify the accuracy of billing and manage appropriate billing and payment schedules.
• Initiate timely follow-up with credit customers for payment collection.
• Generate periodic ageing and outstanding reports to assess receivables.
• Perform analysis on sales patterns, payment habits, and profitability of individual parties.
• Reconcile accounts for customers and address any discrepancies or payment-related issues.
• Coordinate documentation such as Credit Sales Agreements, KYC procedures, and security cheque handling.
• Alert management about overdue accounts, customers with high credit risks, or low-profit transactions.
• Advise on adjustments to credit limits including increases, reductions, or suspension of credit facilities.

Qualifications and Skills

• Preferably a graduate with a background in Commerce or Accounts.
• Experience related to Credit Control, Accounts Receivable, Billing, or Collection functions.
• Proficient in Excel and knowledgeable in Tally or ERP software.
• Excellent communication, follow-up skills, and strong analytical capabilities.

Additional Information

This is a full-time position within the Accounts department of a petrol pump and fuel retail network.

Salary offered ranges between 35000 and 55000 INR per month.
