Job description
Position Overview
The role entails verifying numerical entries and documents to ensure accuracy and proper coding, organizing and safeguarding all financial records as per company policies, and managing computerized financial data efficiently. The Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for maintaining precise electronic spreadsheets related to accounting and financial matters, classifying and summarizing numerical data using journals and ledgers, and preparing various financial and statistical reports. Additionally, this role requires the execution of period-end closing activities and issuing bills, invoices, and account statements in line with company guidelines.
Additional Responsibilities
- Adhere strictly to company policies and maintain a neat, professional appearance.
- Ensure confidentiality of sensitive company information and protect assets.
- Safeguard the privacy and security of guests and coworkers.
- Address guest service requests promptly and courteously.
- Communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing; handle telephone and email correspondence with appropriate etiquette.
- Physically handle objects weighing up to 10 pounds as necessary.
- Build and sustain positive relationships within the team to support shared objectives.
- Respond appropriately to coworkers' concerns and assist with additional tasks as directed by supervisors.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum educational qualification: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least one year of relevant work experience in a similar role.
- No supervisory responsibilities required.
- No specific licenses or certifications needed.
