Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Accounts Receivable team by setting direction, managing performance, coaching staff, and fostering a collaborative, high-achieving environment.
- Manage complex accounts receivable functions, assisting teams with challenging claims, payment issues, and operational concerns to ensure prompt reimbursements.
- Formulate and implement both short-term and long-term strategies aimed at enhancing revenue collection, minimizing denial trends, improving payment results, and boosting operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with insurance payers and collaborate across departments such as Medical Coding, Billing, and Revenue Integrity to identify and resolve recurring denial problems and prevent future occurrences.
- Promote continuous process improvement through monitoring performance, conducting operational reviews, initiating quality programs, optimizing workflows, and establishing sustainable best practices.
Candidate Profile
- A bachelor's degree in any field is required; CRCR certification is preferred.
- More than 10 years of experience in U.S. Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management, with a minimum of 5 years dedicated to Accounts Receivable, AR Follow-up, Denials Management, Appeals, and reimbursement processes.
- In-depth knowledge of Accounts Receivable procedures, medical billing, payment posting, Medicare, Medicaid, ICD, CPT codes, and payer reimbursement policies.
- Demonstrated track record of managing high-performing teams, engaging stakeholders, driving operational excellence, and improving performance outcomes.
- Strong analytical thinking, effective communication, leadership abilities, stakeholder management competence, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
