Position Overview
Business Tribune Global Company Ltd is looking for a meticulous and organized Accounts Payable Accountant to join our Finance department in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The appointed individual will oversee the entire accounts payable cycle, ensuring the precise and prompt handling of vendor invoices, employee expense claims, and payment disbursements.
Primary Duties
- Accurately analyze, verify, and enter vendor invoices, purchase orders, and receiving reports into the financial system.
- Manage scheduled payments through various channels such as bank transfers, checks, and wires, abiding by company credit and cash flow policies.
- Act as the key liaison for vendor billing questions, resolve any disputes or errors, and sustain strong vendor relations.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations between accounts payable ledgers and vendor statements to guarantee liability accuracy.
- Audit and process employee travel and expense reimbursements while complying with internal corporate travel policies.
- Support month-end and annual close activities by preparing accruals, journal entries, and documentation required for external audits.
- Maintain compliance with local tax laws, including VAT and withholding tax, and assist with monthly AP aging and cash flow forecasting reports.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field.
- Between two to five years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting functions.
- Practical knowledge of ERP/accounting systems such as Zoho Books, SAP, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including use of VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and complex data handling.
- Good command of GAAP/IFRS accounting frameworks and local tax regulations related to VAT invoicing.
