Role Overview
This position is for an Accounts Executive / Senior Accounts Executive to support day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting operations for international clients. The role requires accurate transaction processing, reconciliations, reporting, and coordination across core finance activities.
Responsibilities
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, including entry and reconciliation of source transactions such as sales, purchases, investment income, and expenses.
- Process payroll based on timesheets.
- Manage inventory accounting activities.
- Perform bank and cash reconciliations.
- Maintain and update the general ledger.
- Reconcile GST-related records.
- Prepare invoices.
- Organize and maintain financial records.
- Prepare ad hoc reports as required.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant is a quick learner, a strong performer, and someone who works well in a team. The role calls for a solid accounting foundation, practical exposure to overseas bookkeeping, and the ability to adapt to an Australian business environment.
Requirements
- A total of 2 to 10 years of experience is required.
- At least 2 years of experience must be in overseas bookkeeping.
- Qualification should be B.Com, M.Com, MBA Finance, CA Inter, or an equivalent credential.
- Hands-on exposure to accounting tools such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage Handisoft will be an advantage.
- Working knowledge of Tally or similar Indian accounting software is expected.
- Strong written and spoken English is essential.
- Good proficiency in MS Office is mandatory.
- Preference will be given to candidates who can comfortably adapt to Australian business practices and culture.
Work Details
The job is based in Malleshwaram, Bangalore, and follows a day shift schedule.
