Accounts Bookkeeper / Clerk - Part-time

Overview

Sustainable Pty Ltd. is looking for a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a part-time Accounts Bookkeeper / Clerk, either as an employee or ABN contractor. This role requires a commitment of at least 15 hours per week and offers a chance to work in a supportive environment at our head office or secondary rural location in Queensland.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing MYOB data entry for accounts receivable and payable transactions
• Managing payroll including superannuation processing
• Conducting daily sales and bank reconciliations using MYOB
• Generating monthly operational reports
• Maintaining daily cash flow records
• Ensuring compliance with both internal and external accounting policies
• Handling organized office management tasks
• Performing general administrative duties as needed

Qualifications and Skills

• At least five years of relevant experience in a similar bookkeeping capacity, particularly with MYOB software
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Excellent communication skills
• Sound mathematical aptitude coupled with administrative and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently, manage workload under pressure, and meet deadlines
• Availability to work standard business hours with flexible start times
• Prior experience in the building and construction sector is preferred but not mandatory
