Accountant with GST and Tally Prime Expertise

About the Role

The Indian Softball Cricket League (ISCL) is seeking a meticulous Accountant to take charge of comprehensive accounting and finance functions. The role demands independent handling of daily transactions, taxation, compliance, payroll, and financial statements within a growing sports organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting activities efficiently.
• Oversee GST filing along with relevant statutory compliances.
• Ensure compliance with TDS and Income Tax regulations.
• Maintain accounting records accurately in Tally Prime.
• Administer payroll processing and employee reimbursements.
• Perform bookkeeping tasks and reconcile bank statements.
• Assist in the preparation of Profit & Loss accounts and Balance Sheets.
• Handle Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable management.
• Process vendor payments and pursue outstanding dues.
• Generate Management Information System (MIS) reports for leadership.
• Collaborate with Chartered Accountants and external auditors.
• Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting and uphold compliance standards.

Candidate Requirements

• Degree in Commerce (B.Com or M.Com) or an equivalent qualification.
• Two to three years of practical accounting experience.
• Strong proficiency in GST, TDS, and Income Tax laws and compliance.
• Experienced user of Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel.
• Sound skills in bookkeeping and bank reconciliations.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and reliable in meeting deadlines.
