Role Overview

The Accountant will handle daily accounting functions, ensuring precise financial records, aiding monthly reporting, and adhering to Saudi accounting and tax laws. Expertise in Odoo ERP and multitasking in a dynamic business setting is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately manage general ledger and financial records.
• Record and reconcile daily transactions utilizing Odoo ERP.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Compile monthly financial and management reports.
• Perform bank reconciliation and maintain company balance accuracy.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring cash flows.
• Prepare VAT submissions ensuring compliance with ZATCA guidelines.
• Oversee fixed assets, prepayments, accruals, and journal entries.
• Liaise with external auditors and tax consultants as required.
• Maintain documentation and implement accounting controls.
• Support procurement, purchase orders, and expense controls within Odoo.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• At least three years of accounting experience.
• Proven practical experience with Odoo ERP is mandatory.
• Comprehensive understanding of IFRS and Saudi accounting standards.
• Familiarity with VAT processes and ZATCA compliance.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and analytical abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail, honesty, and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines.
