Job description
Position Overview
This role supports the internal financial accounting processes in alignment with headquarters directives and oversees various accounting tasks including revenue, costs, and operating activities management. The specialist ensures timely and accurate internal and external financial reporting and maintains excellent interactions with tax and audit authorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop internal financial accounting guidelines in accordance with headquarters and implement upon approval.
- Manage company revenue, expenses, and costs; track all operational activities, receivables, and approved payables; prepare month-end and year-end financial statements.
- Coordinate and cooperate with internal and external tax and audit bodies; prepare required documentation promptly and accurately; sustain good working relationships with these entities.
- Handle cash receipts, create accounting vouchers, maintain registration and bank statements.
- Issue and archive invoices appropriately.
- Participate in annual budgeting and monthly capital planning, analyze variances between budgeted and actual figures.
- Review employee expense claims for accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain contact with banks, auditors, and government tax authorities as required.
- Design, negotiate, and implement effective financing arrangements that are reasonable and viable for the company.
- Ensure timely and quality external financial reporting to the Chinese headquarters.
- Perform additional tasks assigned by the manager.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of three years' experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Comprehensive knowledge of local tax laws and regulations.
- Proficient with accounting software and capable of working independently with efficiency.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
