Role overview

The Accountant will support the Singapore office and work within a team of about 23 colleagues from different backgrounds. This role is responsible for managing financial administration and reporting for one or more entities within the Boskalis Group.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee complete accounting records, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger.
  • Produce routine and as-needed financial and management reports.
  • Compile reporting packs for head office and outside stakeholders.
  • Build forecasts and prepare the annual budget.
  • Work with the tax agent on tax return preparation and filing.
  • Manage the audit cycle and coordinate with auditors.
  • Prepare yearly financial statements.
  • Handle additional assignments and project work when needed.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in Finance, Accountancy, or a closely related field is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience is required.
  • Strong understanding of Singapore FRS, taxation, and GST.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
  • Able to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Self-driven, flexible, and proactive in solving problems.
  • Focused on results, persistent, resilient, and compassionate.

Additional information

You will be based at the Singapore office at 23 Gul Rd, Singapore.

This is a full-time position.
