About the Role
Olivecloud Tech Private Limited is seeking a meticulous and experienced Accountant based in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. The candidate will be responsible for managing routine accounting operations, taxation processes, and maintaining comprehensive financial records with accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks using Tally ERP/Tally Prime software.
- Record and process transactions including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Manage GST accounting and perform necessary reconciliations.
- Handle TDS computations, deductions, and timely payments.
- Generate invoices, debit and credit notes, as well as payment vouchers.
- Reconcile accounts with vendors and customers and pursue outstanding receivables.
- Support monthly and yearly financial closing procedures.
- Maintain all accounting documentation and supporting evidence in proper order.
- Liaise with auditors, consultants, and financial institutions as required.
Requirements
- Professional experience ranging from 3 to 10 years in accounting roles.
- Thorough expertise in Tally ERP/Tally Prime platforms.
- Comprehensive knowledge of GST and TDS regulations and compliance.
- Strong ability to maintain and reconcile detailed financial records.
- Good understanding of statutory compliance and tax filing requirements.
