Job description
About German Naval Yards
With a shipbuilding tradition spanning more than 185 years, German Naval Yards emerged from the former surface shipbuilding division of Howaldtswerke-Deutsche Werft (HDW). Today, based in Kiel and part of the international CMN NAVAL shipyard group, it continues this longstanding maritime heritage on the Kiel Fjord.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with commercial and tax regulations in accounts payable and receivable processes
- Classify and process incoming invoices
- Issue outgoing invoices
- Record, activate, manage, and dispose of fixed assets
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain communication both internally and with external partners
- Handle administrative tasks including master data maintenance
Candidate Profile
- Completed vocational training in a commercial discipline
- Preferably several years of professional experience in accounting
- Familiarity with SAP R3 FI/AA/MM modules is advantageous
- Proficient with MS Office tools, especially Excel
- Demonstrates accuracy, organization, and independent working style
- English language skills are a plus
